In the past three years that I have trained with Charles, I have become more self-assured inside and especially outside of the gym. I believe physical strength and mental strength ought to exist in tandem. I have always been rather intimidated by gyms in general, as I have seldom had positive experiences with its stereotypical patrons. Charles and his team, however, are dedicated to ensuring a safe and open environment for women and men, young and old, novices and experienced enthusiasts alike. That is to say, when I step foot into EAT I am no longer my age, my gender, my overworked self; rather, someone simply working to continuously improve herself and challenge her personal best. Charles and his team are very knowledgeable when it comes to high performance training and have strongly built the foundations for me to always improve on and off the mats.
